Course Objective

Enhancing 3D character animation skills, focusing on strong poses, nuanced movements and believable expressions, to make characters feel more engaging and lifelike.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to create powerful and expressive poses for 3D Characters.
2   Developing an understanding of a 3D character's body movements to convey weight and balance
3   Learning to craft engaging and realistic facial expressions that convey emotions.
4   Master accurate lip syncing for smooth and convincing character communication.
5   Integrate poses, body language, facial expressions, and lip sync to create a cohesive and compelling character performance in 3D animation.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lessons
The lecturer directs the students to produce projects and asks them to practice on examples.
During the review and examination of new technologies, practice studio practices and homework, the practical skills to be encountered will be demonstrated by the lecturer in the first and last hour of the course every week. Students will be strongly encouraged to participate in class discussions and to present their ideas and opinions about the preparation of their projects.
Applications
During the application process, students are shown examples about how to use a method in the production phase, and students are expected to do a similar experiment in a three-week period.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

The lecturer determines the homework and project grades. Class participation grade is determined by the lecturer according to the presentation that the student will make during the term and his success in the classroom studies.

Assessment Criteria

Creativity, perception and skill proficiency in homework applications will be taken into consideration.

1. It is compulsory to attend 70% of the course.
2. Not attending the course will not be considered as a valid excuse for late submission of assignments and projects.
3. Projects that exceed the project delivery date and time will not be accepted.
