Course Objective

This course; It aims to teach the students to use their bodies as a tool to communicate nonverbally, to develop the features they will need, such as to increase their animation skills, to gain the ability to practice qualified acting in the animations they produce, to increase artistic awareness, and to communicate nonverbally.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Having sufficient technical and theoretical knowledge in the realization of the movements of the characters,
2   The onset of bodily awareness, the character's body becoming usable for nonverbal communication,
3   Ability to do creative and original work through movement
4   Discovering how the character will benefit from exposure while expressing himself and developing skill accordingly,
5   Gaining the skill of artistic evaluation through criticism, following the presentations, provided that the criteria are adhered to,
6   Being efficient in group work related to movement.
7   Creating unique topics in their homework, shaping them based on course knowledge, bringing them together with the right design elements and preparing presentations at the level of traceability,
8   It is expected that he/she will have knowledge about the studies conducted in the field of motion and the different and contemporary methods used.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Instructor helps students to create the awareness of raising the animation design performance that they will need throughout their professional life, to obtain the necessary information in the first stage of artistic awareness and to translate this knowledge into practice. In addition, the animation character makes them discover the possibilities of movement of their body. does work.
The topics covered in the lectures and exemplified by the practice studies are brought to the level of homework so that they can be watched by the student.
Assignments prepared by the student are opened for discussion and criticism. At this point, it is accepted as a criterion that the work done is correct and has an impact. The student tests the effect of his work on the audience. This helps to increase the quality and creativity in their later productions.
