Course Objective

To help students understand basic concepts and terminology relevant to digital animation. To help students gain proficiency and familiarity in digital animation techniques.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lectures cover digital animation terminology and concepts; students, then, are assigned in-class exercises to gain familiarity with said concepts.

Homework assignments make up 50% of the final course grade; a final project makes up the other 50%.

Assessment Criteria

For homework and classwork assignments, students are expected to complete the exercises assigned to them. For the final, students are expected to develop and produce a project on their own. Homeworks and classworks are graded based on students' proficiency, while final projects are graded based on their level of creativity and level of difficulty, as well as students' level of proficiency.
Assignments and projects submitted past their respective deadlines are not accepted.
