Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 To improve his/her theoretical knowledge within the frame of deign of décor-costume.
2   2 to be able to transfer the knowledge that he/she improves into design phase
3   3 To be able to transfer the thoughts completely, improved in design phase, in generation and practice phase
4   4 to be able to improve himself/herself in exchange of view and critical discussion being in touch with instructor or relevant ones for the solutions of problem might be encountered in design, generation, and practice phase
5   5 To use and generate different practice techniques for new aesthetical solutions by developing techniques used in practice phase
6   6 To be able to give projects complete form developing new and innovative representation techniques in concordance with the nature of projects carried out
7   7 To be able to be qualified and have comprehensive knowledge about his/her subjects in case of questions and criticism which he/she might encounter during the presentation

2 2 play scripts by arguing and determining the names of the project and announcing the official work related to projects 12 Discussing and improving the schemas of décor-costume.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Theoretical information about general context, focus point and details of project chosen in class will be given. The students will be guided about choosing play and suggestions will be given to them. Preparations which are necessary for design and run practice phase during the process of play chooses and completing the official work for projects chosen will be done. After completing the official work, we will pass design phase and homework will be given for new solutions and techniques till the end of this phase. Review sessions about time given for this homework will be done by instructor at the first half of the class every week. Drawings in class and homework will underlie the problems that will be solved in these sessions. The students will be encouraged to engage in the class discussions. Following the design phase, we will pass practice and presentation phase and the projects will be presented by students in front of a jury consisted of instructors of stage design in the given time.

Course Policies and Rules

1. 70% attendence to the lessons are compulsory.
2. All kind of plagiarism attempt or action will result in disciplinary penalty.
3. Not attending the course, will not be considered as a valid excuse for delayed delivery of the assignments and projects.
4. For delayed delivery of the assignments and projects; points will be deducted which is equivalent to ta letter grade per day for each day of delayed delivery.
