Course Objective

Transferring and practicing technical drawing / stage modeling methods to students in computer environment. Making computer-aided technical drawings of the projects given by the instructor or the student's existing stage design projects of the fourth semester.

2   To be able to transfer their projects to digital environment with computer aided design software or software
3   To be able to gain the competence to create his/her project with digital methods

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The lecturer will help the students to complete technical drawings on the computer through the selected projects and inform the students about the problems and solutions that may be encountered during the application stages. General information about different software will also be given and students will be responsible for the presentation and exhibition of their final projects.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Scoring will be based on designing in accordance with the final project, creating the design with precise and accurate methods in the digital environment and exhibiting the work done during the course.

Assessment Criteria

The student will apply the basic digital drawing criteria described in the course in each project. The score for student participation will be based on (1) class attendance, (2) the quality of the student's answers to questions posed by the lecturer during the lecture and in-class project work, and (3) the student's contribution to the creation of a positive learning environment.

1-Participation in 80% of the course is compulsory.
2-Any plagiarism attempt will result in disciplinary action.
3- Practices will take place in class.
4-Timely submission of assigned projects is important and attendance is mandatory.
5-Student is responsible for the use of computers in the computer studio.
