Course Objective

To learn the causes, mechanisms and morphology of diseases in living organisms. To learn etiopathogenesis and clinicopathological features of oral and maxillofacial, head and neck diseases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student should be able to describe the cellular adaptive response, cellular degeneration. 2   The student should be able to define necrosis and apoptosis. 3   The student should be able to name and classify neoplasms. 4   The student should be able to explain carcinogenesis.
