Course Objective

1. Gaining the ability to distinguish between normal occlusions and malocclusions in the clinic
2. Gaining the ability to perform preventive and interceptive orthodontic treatment
3 Gaining the ability to diagnose malocclusions with their causes
4. Learning the correct treatment timings of malocclusions

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1.The practical lesson will be given to the entire class in groups.
2. Each group will receive a total of 5 weeks (100 hours) of practice training at the orthodontics clinic during the academic year.

Assessment Criteria

1- Being present at the clinics before each lesson during class hours together with the necessary educational materials for that lesson.
2- The ability to make and apply frequently used mobile orthodontic devices, prepare a case report.
3- Ability to diagnose orthodontic anomalies
4- At the beginning of the academic year, it is necessary to complete the mandatory tasks announced by the department of orthodontics as the minimum number and type of work-homework-application, and all all performed operations will be evaluated and graded. This note is a clinical evaluation note.
5- Students who have completed their compulsory jobs at the end of the internship will take the final internship exam. This note is the final clinical practice grade.
