Course Objective

To convey information on behaviour management in child patient , provide comprehension of aspects of dental examination, convey information on caries and its prevention and on cavity principles in primary teeth and restorative materials for primary and young permanent teeth.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Classify the principles and types of communication with the child patient and parents.
2   Defines growth, development and behaviour orientation techniques in children.
3   Explain the development of primary teeth occlusion.
4   List required information for diagnosis and treatment planning in children.
