Course Objective

To have advanced knowledge about general and specific human embryology.
To define the microscopic structure and organization of organs belonging to body systems
To learn the definition of embryology, developmental processes and some developmental anomalies
To know stem cells and their sources
To learn the development of cranium
To learn pharyngeal arches
To learn the development and histology of lips, cheeks, tonsils, salivary glands
To learn the histology and embryology of nasal cavity, larynx
To learn the histology of teeth and tongue development

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have advanced knowledge about general human embryology.
