Course Objective |
The extraordinarily rich and attractive geography of the Near East in terms of civilization has always attracted the attention of westerners who want to be the ruler of these regions. Starting from the 18th century in Anatolia, Mesopotamia, Egypt, especially in the Ottoman lands, Great Britain, France, Germany railway activities and diplomatic relations, etc. carried out many excavations within the scope of; The important artifacts revealed in these excavations were moved to the Western museums and took their distinguished place in the imperial museums there. These works of immovable-immovable (architectural) type have made important contributions to the Archeology Museum. Within the scope of this course, works taken from the Near East in the Imperial Museums and their display forms will be examined. |
