Course Objective

Today, museums have become non-stationary constantly changing places. This change has started to take its place in the interior arrangements of the museums and in the exhibition arrangements. The technology elements in the museum are not only for the purpose of protecting the museum and the objects in the museum, but also the availability of new technology elements in the most suitable exhibition setup in order to better convey the objects in the museum to the visitors. Rapidly developing technology and virtual museum applications and the use of augmented realism elements make objects more intensive than a display inside the museum space. This situation seems to be a very important way to attract the attention of the visitor and to transfer the information in different ways. The aim of this course is to introduce new technology used in museums today and to focus on how they can be used in museums.
