Course Objective

This course aims to provide students with the fundamental principles and techniques of fashion photography and to bring them to a level where they can produce creative and original fashion photographs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the history and aesthetic understanding of fashion photography.
2   To be able to identify the equipment and techniques used in fashion photography.
3   To gain knowledge about lighting and composition in studio and outdoor shoots.
4   To be able to communicate with models and crew in fashion shoots.
5   To be able to post-process fashion photographs using digital photo editing programs.
6   To be able to produce creative and original fashion photographs.

Aesthetical and Artistic Sensitivity: The visual impact of photographs, the ability to create emotion and atmosphere.
Research and Experiment: Following fashion photography trends, experimenting with different techniques.
Presentation: Clarity, impact, and originality of the visual and written presentation of the project.
