Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach basic composition and related topics in the context of photographic design. The methods of transforming photographic visual thinking into artistic design are tried to be taught through examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can evaluate linkage and relationship between visual perception, visual information and photographic vision (perception, framing, golden ratio, perspective ...)
2   Can comprehend the elements shaping the design, in Photographic Composition;
3   Can use light shadow, color information in photographic expression
4   Can criticize the work in the field of photographic design using the above components
5   Will be able to reveal original preferences in photographic composition
