Course Objective

To train students who are having an information about bacterial and mycotic diseases of non-poultry animals and their epidemiology, laboratory diagnosis, control and vaccines, control of zoonotic diseases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will have knowledge about nomenclature of bacterial species that cause disease in domestic animals according to their colony and individual characteristics and morphology.
2   Students know the ways of transmission and pathogenesis of bacteria.
3   Students know and apply the rules of sampling and transport process and laboratory diagnostic methods of bacterial infections.
4   Students know the hygiene rules and vaccinations to prevent diseases.
5   Students apply the animal health provisions in notifiable diseases and know the zoonotic diseases.
