Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to examine the concepts and subjects that will form the basis of diagnostic oncology and pathology. In addition, it includes informing the student about the macroscopic and microscopic features of pathological changes in tissues and organs and the methods of morphology.

1   The student gains knowledge about macroscopic diagnosis types.
2   The student gains about microscopic diagnosis types.
3   The student gains about the analysis of morphological diagnosis.
4   The student gains knowledge about the distribution of the lesion.
5   To have information about the contour, color, and shape of the organ.
6   Knowledge of the classification of inflammation.
7   The student gains knowledge about tumor diagnosis methods.
8   The student gains knowledge about microscopic diagnostic techniques.

1 Distribution of the lesion (Digestive System, Respiratory System, Liver and Biliary System, Hematopoietic System, Urinary System, Eye Diseases, Ophthalmology Pathology, Bone, Joint and Muscular System)
2 Form and content of the organ (Digestive System, Respiratory System, Liver and Biliary System, Hematopoietic System, Urinary System, Eye Diseases, Pathology of Eye Diseases, Bone, Joint and Muscle System, Female Genital System, Male Genital System, Breast Diseases, Nervous System, Cardiovascular System, Skin Diseases , Endocrine System, Ear Diseases)
3 Tumor diagnosis methods (Definition, General characteristics of tumors, Classification and naming of tumors, Preneoplastic lesions, Tumor-like anomalies, General characteristics of benign and malignant tumors, Spread of malignant tumors, Metastasis, Prognosis in tumors, staging of cancer, Predisposition to tumor formation)
