It is the provision of basic knowledge about the anatomy of the mammary gland in pet species, lactation physiology, mastitis, diseases of the teats and udder skin, mammary surgeries, principles of milking and milking machines, and udder health control programs in large ruminants.. |

Assessment Criteria |
The student will be evaluated based on the questions asked in the midterm and final exams. Additionally, evaluations will be made through research assignments and presentations given throughout the term. |

The responsibility for attending 70% of the theoretical classes throughout the term lies with the student. Compliance with the scheduled class times and assignment submission deadlines, if requested, is required.
