Course Objective

To teach basic information about anatomy of udder in domestic animals, lactation, milking and milking hygiene, mastitis, udder skin and teat diseases, udder operations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowledge of the anatomy and lactation physiology of the udder in domestic animals
2   Gains knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of non-infectious diseases of the mammary skin in domestic animals
3   Gain knowledge, skills and competence with practices on breast operations
4   Have knowledge about milking and milking hygiene in pets
5   Gain knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of mastitis in pets
