Course Objective

This course is given to acquanit about pathology of the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, the male genital system, the female genital system, the urinary system, the nervous system, the skin and appendages, bones-joints, muscle, tendon-aponeuroses, eye-ear.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains the skill of recognizing diseases and making their etiological and pathomorphological distinctions.
2   Makes macroscopic and microscopic definitions of diseases encountered in veterinary medicine by using the possible pathogenesis of diseases, gains the ability to interpret results.
3   Gains knowledge about cardiovascular system, respiratory system, male genital system, female genital system, urinary system, nervous system, skin and attachment structures, bone-joint, muscle, tendon-aponeurosis, eye-ear pathology.
4   Recognizes pathological changes in cardiovascular system, respiratory system, male genital system, female genital system, urinary system, nervous system, skin and attachment structures, bone-joint, muscle, tendo-aponeuroses, eye-ear, and can make histopathological diagnosis.

1 Pathology of the Cardiovascular System Heart failure, Congenital abnormalities of the heart and large vessels, inflammatory and noninflammatory lesions of the pericardium, myocardium and endocardium
2 Pathology of the Cardiovascular System Neoplasms of the heart, degeneration and congenital anomalies of arteries, veins and lymphatics
3 Pathology of the Respiratory System Nasal cavity and sinuses: congenital anomalies, metabolic disorders, circulatory disorders, inflammations of nasal cavity, parasitic diseases of nasal cavity and sinuses, pathology of pharynx and air sacs
4 Pathology of the Respiratory System Congenital anomalies, laryngeal paralysis, circulatory disorders, laryngitis and tracheitis, parasitic and neoplastic diseases of the larynx and trachea, Inflammation of the lung, forms of pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, bronchiolitis, congenital anomalies, atelectasis, pulmonary emphysema, circulatory disorders of the lung, Inflammation of the lungs, forms of pneumonia,
5 Pathology of the Male Genital System Pathology of the scrotum and tunica vaginalis; Inflammation and neoplasms of the penis and prepuce; developmental anomalies, degeneration, neoplastic diseases of testis, epididymis, funiculus spermaticus, vesicle seminalis, ampulla, prostate and glandula bulbourethral; various disorders of the accessory sex glands
