Course Objective

In this course, students will be introduced to project-based incentives, grants and support programs, to inform them about the ways and methods to be followed in the preparation of projects from the initial stage to the final stage, to increase students' awareness of the social problems they encounter in their environment or to improve scientific events waiting for a solution, to be a part of the solution. It is aimed to motivate them to develop new projects on behalf of them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Has knowledge of project types, project-based incentives, grants and support programs.
2   Has knowledge of project cycle management, its objectives, benefits and principles.
3   Has knowledge on analyzing the problems that may arise in the projects, revealing the objectives and strategies, planning and realizing the project activities
4   Has knowledge about defining project outputs, identifying risk analyzes that may arise in the project, preparing and interpreting the logical framework matrix.
5   Has knowledge about the monitoring and evaluation of project processes and the importance of sustainability of project outputs.
6   Has information about the timing of the activities planned during the project process and the creation of Gantt charts.
7   Has knowledge about the preparation of project budgets, determination of resources and efficient use.

3 Situation analysis: problem analysis, goal analysis, strategy analysis and stakeholder analysis and planning of project activities
4 Situation analysis: problem analysis, goal analysis, strategy analysis and stakeholder analysis and planning of project activities
5 Determination of general objectives and project purpose in projects
6 Determination of project activities, management and main steps of activity planning
7 The method to be used in the realization of the project activities (determination of the methodology)
8 Defining project outputs, main steps of output generation
9 Preparation of logframe matrix and determination of its methods
10 Performing risk analysis, identifying activities to reduce risks and adding them to the logical framework
11 Determination of objective success indicators, creation and evaluation of indicators
12 Monitoring, evaluation, sustainability of projects
13 Activity and time planning, Gantt chart preparation
