Course Objective

This course, with the help of a supervisor, will guide the students to prepare theirselves for MSc thesis or project by delving into resources and publications and to develop a research question or a research topic compatible with the current problems of the GIScience or RS. The students are expected to use their professional knowledge and generic skills (using a software, reading any kind of publication, etc.) in an efficient way.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to do literature research in the area of e-commerce and thesis
2   Differentiate among e-commerce and e-commerce related publicatons of various kinds (thesis, research paper, project, patent etc.),
3   Ability to conduct research on the relevant area
4   Analyzing, interpreting and evaluating data after the research
5   Report research results
6   To be able to transfer the results of the research to specialist and non-field groups.
