General Description
History |
Anatomy of PhD students proficiency in relevant areas and disciplines enables developers to build their skills. The main objective of the program, the required contributions to scientific issues related to the human body is capable of efficient and effective work discipline has gained the power to educate people with entrepreneurial skills. Doctoral degree is covered courses and research for four-year program. The first two years taking courses related to the field of specialization and thesis preparation period. In addition to the compulsory courses in the curriculum, students specialize on the appropriate area, is an interdisciplinary elective courses. The program language is Turkish. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Second Cycle Degree in the same or in related disciplines. Acceptable score on ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam) or Equivalent GRE, GMAT score. Acceptable score on Language Proficiency Tests. Acceptable weighted score based on the first or second cycle (with thesis) cumulative grade point average (GPA) and ALES score. However, ALES requirement is waived for the graduates of doctorate /arts proficiency/medical residency/ dental residency/ veterinary residency/ pharmaceutical residency programs as well as for the admissions to the graduate programs offered by the Conservatory and the departments of Fine Arts Faculty, where students are admitted only by the Artistic Aptitude Test. Final admission is based on the evaluation of the related academic unit committee. International student admission requirements are decided by the Graduate School Executive Committee. |
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Successful students who have completed at least one semester in a graduate program of a higher education institution from within or outside the university can be admitted to the institutes through horizontal transfer. Students who have successfully registered for the graduate entrance exams can be exempted from the courses they take during their education at other institutes that are approved by the institution's board of directors upon the proposal of the master's / master's branch. However, the total credits of the exempted courses can not exceed 1/3 of the credits required to complete the relevant program |

Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree) Program is comprised of courses, (at least 78 ECTS), field study (12 ECTS) and thesis (150 ECTS), in total 240 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB / S / TP grades. |
