Course Objective

Understanding the conceptual and theoretical framework of scientific research, research methods and to understand the importance of science publication ethics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the importance of science and scientific thought and research, 2   To be able to explain the methods of accessing and compiling information, 3   To recognise quantitative research methods, to associate with the purpose of research to be able to use it, 4   To recognise qualitative research methods, to relate them to the research purpose to be able to use it, 5   Analysing, interpreting, presenting and using the obtained information in practice to understand the techniques, 6   To be able to explain the importance of ethics in scientific research, 7   To be able to comprehend and apply ethical rules in scientific publication process.
