Course Objective |

To provide students with the skills to effectively manage emergencies and minimise risks in workplace environments, thus contributing to the creation of a culture of safety and preparedness. Through theoretical course content and practical applications, the course aims to provide a solid foundation in disaster response strategies and OHS principles, enabling students to successfully meet professional challenges in these critical areas. |

Assessment Criteria |
|
Mid-term assessment, examinations and final students learn how to prepare a workplace emergency plan based on a specific disaster scenario and that this plan effectively addresses disaster risks. The assessment considers factors such as the scope of the plan, its applicability, communication strategies and team coordination. |
