Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to introduce educational and support programs aimed at families of children with special educational needs and to ensure that families actively participate in the educational process. The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to help families support their children's developmental processes and to shape the role of families in the education of children with special needs.

1   Explain the role of family education in the special education process.
2   Identify educational methods for families of children with special educational needs.
3   Develop counseling techniques for families.
4   Discuss how families can contribute to their children's educational processes.
