Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce basic teaching methods used in special education both theoretically and practically; and to equip prospective teachers with the skills to design, plan, and implement individualized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities.

1   Identifies commonly used teaching methods in special education.
2   Explains principles of instructional adaptation and individualized teaching.
3   Develops skills to define and analyze target behaviors.
4   Prepares instructional plans and activities.
5   Applies appropriate assessment strategies for individuals with special needs.
6   Conducts instructional practices in line with ethical standards.
