Course Objective

The aim of this course is to address the empowerment of individuals with special needs and their families, as well as advocacy processes. Students will be equipped with skills to advocate for the rights of individuals with special needs, enhance their social participation, and empower families in these processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gaining knowledge about the rights of individuals with special needs and legal regulations. 2   Developing skills for empowering and supporting families. 3   Formulating strategies for legal advocacy and social change. 4   Comparing different legal systems and advocacy approaches. 5   Discussing ethical issues in legal advocacy for individuals with special needs.
