Course Objective

Raising awareness on gender equality and violence against women.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gaining the ability to recognize, understand and question their own values, including gender inequality.
2   Understands how gender inequality is reflected in an individual's emotional state, behavior, and role patterns, and how it is passed on from generation to generation.
3   Analyzes the effects of gender on different areas (education, working life, media, law, health, family and marriage, aging and disability).
4   Explains gender-based violence against women, types and reasons of violence against women.
5   To be able to analyze the current situation in our country and in the world regarding the violence against women.
