Course Objective

This course aims to provide civil air transportation management students with the basic terminology to be used in airport, ground handling and flight operations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Students will be able to use the most appropriate English at every stage of ground services
2   2. Students will be able to communicate effectively with flight and ground personnel
3   3. Students will have knowledge about national and international aviation authorities
4   4. Students will know the terminology related to airport, air transportation and parts of the aircraft
5   5. Students will be able to say ground handling and aircraft equipment in English
