Course Objective

It will cover theories and current research on how intergroup relations find meaning through theories of social contact, dynamics in relations, identification and interaction mechanisms.

3   To be able to analyze the formation of group categories and how group boundaries are established
4   To examine groups and intergroup contact within economic, political and everyday worlds of meaning and the construction of social positions
