Course Objective

The topics such as intervention and rescue operations during disasters, emergency management, and coordination will be evaluated from the perspective of workplaces. In the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), emphasis will be placed on fundamental principles such as identifying risks in workplaces, OHS legislation, and standards. The aim is to impart skills for coping with disasters and contribute to the establishment of safe working environments in workplaces. Case studies and practical exercises will help students to enhance their practical skills by linking theoretical knowledge with real-life situations. This course aims to provide students with a strong foundation in disaster management and OHS, enabling them to effectively navigate their future professional lives.
