Course Objective

The aim is to examine the concept of culture, one of the concepts of sociology, within the framework of cultural theories, the relationship between culture, identity, and society, the relationship between gender and culture, and concepts related to culture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire basic information about the concept of culture and cultural theories, 2   They can discuss the relationship between culture-identity-society, 3   Gains a critical perspective on the field. 4   They can understand cultural practices by gaining a sociological perspective. 5   They can understand and interpret the discussions of universal culture.
