Course Objective

Criticism and interpretation are explained at a theoretical level. The role of criticism and expression in the development of design is explained through examples from the curriculum. Critical methods are emphasized, and sample designs are critiqued and interpreted using these methods. Students are then expected to critique designs they have chosen from the semesters covered in the program.

1-Required literature related to the course is given to students.
2-Course subjects are supported with visuals.
3-An interactive discussion environment is created and brainstormed about the content of the course and the subjects highlighted by the art agenda.
4- Evaluations made on photographic images are expected to be written down.
5-Writing an academic article is requested.
