Course Objective

Apart from aiming to analyze Pop-Art, perhaps the most controversial art movement of the 20th century, the interdisciplinary attitude of the movement and the views of the art world will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to examine Pop Art, the most controversial art movement of the 20th Century
2   To be able to analyze different perspectives on Pop Art in the context of interdisciplinary studies
3   To be able to discuss evaluations of Pop Art artists and their work.
4   To be able to examine contemporary reflections of Pop Art and the designs of popular artists
5   To be able to debate on Pop Art and Contemporary Art
