Course Objective

To determine tax liabilities and responsibilities of businesses, by remaining within legal limits, to determine the strategies that the tax burden felt at minimum.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to distinguish between the concepts of supervision and control 2   To be able to learn the required international standards for the validity of the independent external supervision 3   To be able to schedule the supervision process 4   To be able to learn the supervision evidences, classifying working papers 5   To be able to make the distinction between Internal control and internal supervision 6   To be able to establish the relationship between the internal control system and internal supervision in banking 7   To be able to define supervision and inspection system in banking

Week Subject Description 1 Supervision, inspection and control concepts 2 Supervision standards 3 The supervision process, control tests, substantive tests 4 Evidence collection and revision procedures in supervision 5 Supervision and supervision-related regulations in the banking sector 6 Banks' risk management 7 Internal control and internal supervision systems 8 The concept of risk and risk management in banking (Midterm exam will also be held this week after course hour) 9 Banks' internal control system 10 Banks' internal control activities 11 Monitoring of the internal control system and correction of errors (internal supervision) 12 Information technology and information security control, computer-assisted supervision techniques / tools in banks 13 Inspection and examination of Banks 14 Reporting and investigation
