Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with practical information about the functioning of a nuclear medicine clinic and patient management. Additionally, it introduces specific clinical applications such as circulatory system imaging, oncological imaging, PET/CT applications, and skeletal and urinary system imaging.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to describe the examinations performed in nuclear medicine and their medical indications.
2   Able to describe patient preparation and imaging protocols based on examinations.
3   Able to identify the diseases most frequently examined in nuclear medicine.
4   Able to perform patient examinations accurately.
5   Able to recognize problems that may arise during examinations and offer solutions.
