Course Objective

To create books with original content by considering the book medium as a design object and communication tool; to create subjective book designs such as art/artist books and autograph books; to develop editorial skills as well as visual management by producing original content.

Course Policies and Rules

This course is evaluated by a portfolio presentation to a jury at the end of the semester. The course instructor determines the content of the portfolio. Students who are absent are not eligible to participate in the final jury. Students are required to submit a complete presentation file on the date and format announced by the department and/or course instructor and to attend the presentation on the announced date. Students who fail to attend the portfolio presentation will fail the course.
