Course Objective |
To the student; to understand the basic principles of page design; to convey how the visual hierarchy will be constructed and how the graphic elements will be arranged according to the design medium in order to give an effective visual communication message; to enable the student to construct the visual-text relationship creatively in the page layout. |

Assessment Criteria |
Evaluation is conducted at the end of the semester in the form of a portfolio presentation to a jury. Students who are absent are not eligible to participate in the final jury. Students are required to submit a complete presentation file on the date and format announced by the department and to attend the presentation on the announced date. Students who fail to attend the presentation will fail the course. A one-time make-up jury session will be held for students who have the excuses specified in Article 32 of the DEU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation. Students who are absent or fail to submit their presentations on time are not eligible to participate in the make-up jury. |
