Course Objective

Students are expected to learn how to design projects to solve environmental and social problems by increasing their awareness of universal values and human rights and local / regional needs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student's awareness of environmental and social needs increases and he / she thinks and discusses these issues
2   Increases awareness to social inequalities and disadvantaged individuals / communities.
3   A sense of solidarity develops.
4   A sense of belonging to the university and society develops.
5   Entrepreneurial skills and tendency to teamwork increase
6   It provides a solution-oriented approach to problems.
7   Learns to design a project.

Assessment Criteria

Each group of students plans and carries out a project in which they will work voluntarily on a social sensitivity issue they have determined.

Language of Instruction

Turkish

Course Policies and Rules

1. Attendance at least 70% of classes is mandatory.

2. The course instructors share the advisory and oversee the social awareness projects.

3. All students in the project group are required to attend class, as grading will be done on project presentation days.
