Course Objective

Aimed to know the students that central and peripheral nerve system structures and afferent and efferent ways of these systems, and have detailed knowledge about the areas as sensory motor system, otonom system, pain and movement control.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows central and peripheral nerve system structures
2   Knows afferent and efferent ways of medulla spinalis and cerebellum
3   Knows structures and functions of otonom nerve system
4   Knows structures, ways and functions of pyramidal and extrapyramidal systems
5   Defines cell structure and functions that form nerve system
6   Explains chemical and electrical signals in nerve system
7   Explains sensory and motor systems and their functions
8   Have knowledge about otonom nerve system, pain and movement control
9   Knows the effects of aging on nervous system and neurophysiologic functions
