Course Objective

This course aims to equip students with advanced knowledge of decorative techniques applied to different ceramic bodies (greenware, bisque, glazed) and to enable them to perform these techniques through practical application.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Possesses the technical knowledge and skills required to apply decorative techniques in ceramic design, using fundamental knowledge of pre- and post-firing decoration methods.
2   Has the foundation and formation necessary to create original and creative ceramic designs.
3   Effectively uses and applies the technical tools and equipment required for ceramic decoration design.

This course will be conducted through both theoretical and practical sessions. Practical work will be evaluated based on the project topic and the applied techniques.
