Course Objective

This course presents theories, strategies, and skills related to the provision of crisis intervention services for a variety of situations and populations. Models for assessing and responding to crises are discussed. Specific crisis intervention skills related to family crisis are taught and practiced.

2   Understand the dynamics of crisis situations
