Course Objective

The main aim of the course is to enable students to learn the basic theoretical approaches related to children's literature and to have the methodological knowledge and skills to evaluate literary texts in terms of children's literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the basic features of children's literature
2   Summarize the basic texts of children's literature
3   To be able to analyze the theoretical discussions of children's literature through selected texts
4   To evaluate literary texts according to their external and internal features
5   Reproducing different literary genres in a way that can be used by children from different age groups
