Course Objective |
Course is aimed to carry the basic typographic knowledge acquired in previous years to an advanced level by reinforcing it with applications. In this context, poster designs, display typefaces are the main focus of the course. In addition, understanding the dynamics of use of typography other than two-dimensional surfaces is one of the secondary objectives of the course. |

Assessment Criteria |
Evaluation is conducted at the end of the semester in the form of a portfolio presentation to a jury. Students who are absent are not eligible to participate in the final jury. Students are required to submit a complete presentation file on the date and format announced by the department and to attend the presentation on the announced date. Students who fail to attend the presentation will fail the course. A one-time make-up jury session will be held for students who have the excuses specified in Article 32 of the DEU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation. Students who are absent or fail to submit their presentations on time are not eligible to participate in the make-up jury. |

Arrive on time to class and study in the studio. The submitted presentations and project drafts should be studied according to the calendar. Participation in the course is required. |
