Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide an advanced exploration of the structural, anatomical, and conceptual aspects of figurative art, enabling students to develop both technical and intellectual depth in figure analysis. The course encourages students to interpret the figure within both classical and contemporary contexts and to cultivate a personal artistic language.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Conducts advanced anatomical and structural analysis of figurative art.
2   Applies concepts of movement, proportion, and balance effectively in figure design.
3   Produces figure studies using various techniques.
4   Contextualizes artistic interpretations of the figure conceptually.
5   Discusses the transformation of the figure in the context of art history and contemporary art.
