Course Objective

The aim of the Advanced Painting Design II course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the design process. This course enables students to explore their artistic and design expressions at an advanced level by enhancing their conceptual thinking, creative expression, and technical skills. Additionally, it allows students to create original and innovative projects by experimenting with various techniques and materials. The course encourages a deeper examination of artistic practice and design understanding, while fostering the development of students' personal artistic identities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to express their designs in a deeper and more original way by understanding advanced design principles and techniques.
2   Students will develop their creative processes by experimenting with different materials and techniques.
3   Students will be able to create meaningful and effective designs by using conceptual thinking and artistic expression.
4   Students will analyze modern art movements and contemporary design theories, drawing inspiration from these movements in their own artistic practices.
5   Students will be able to transition between figurative and abstract design, combining both approaches to create powerful visual narratives.
6   Students will develop their projects technically and aesthetically by utilizing critical thinking and feedback.
7   Students will create original projects by developing their personal artistic identities and perspectives.

Assessment Criteria

Assignments and Project Work:
Students must submit their assignments and projects on time and according to the specified criteria. These works will be evaluated based on creativity, technical skills, and conceptual thinking.
Presentations:
Students will present their projects to the class during the final and intermediate presentations, receiving feedback. Presentations will assess students' visual communication and presentation skills.
