Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to systematically examine economic crimes and to bring new approaches to the legal debates in this field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about the meaning and scope of economic criminal law.
2   To be able to determine the relationship between economic criminal law and criminal law.
3   To be able to examine in detail the types of crimes in the field of economic criminal law
4   To be able to evaluate how economic criminal law has a function in combating the risks in economic life
5   To be able to apply the basic principles of criminal law and the rules of crime theory to concrete cases in the examination of crimes arising in economic life
6   To be able to solve the problems arising in the functioning of criminal procedure in relation to economic criminal law
7   To have an idea about the current developments in economic criminal law in comparative legal systems
