Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the basic theories and practices of teaching Turkish as a foreign language, to ensure the effective use of the language features of Turkish in teaching, and to develop teaching strategies for various learner profiles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the basic methods and techniques used in foreign language teaching.
2   To analyze the grammatical and cultural features of Turkish in a way that is suitable for teaching.
3   To design effective teaching materials for different learner groups.
4   To prepare lesson plans and activities appropriate to language levels.
5   To apply assessment methods and measurement techniques in foreign language teaching.
