Course Objective

This course aims to provide students with an in-depth perspective on selected works from contemporary German literature. It seeks to develop students' skills in analyzing literary texts from multiple perspectives, encouraging critical thinking and enabling them to evaluate these texts within historical and cultural contexts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyze and interpret selected contemporary literary works at an advanced academic level
2   Apply methods of literary studies to concrete textual examples
3   Discuss the literary works in cultural, social, and historical contexts
4   Articulate their interpretations and literary critiques in both written and oral forms, supported by reasoning
