Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make practical analysis studies on Turkish stories and novels from Tanzimat to the present day and to develop the student's knowledge and understanding in this field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend and explain social, political and cultural improvement which play role in Turkish Poetry in Republican.
2   To comprehend, explain and integrate previous term with Turkish Poetry in Republican Era.
3   To comprehend and explain view of stories and poetry in Turkish Republic Era.
4   To explain, compare and analise Westren methods which affect Turkish story and poetry.
5   To explain position of Turkish story and poetry in this era, to analise poetry and to determine relation between poets and their poetry.
