Course Objective |
This course introduces students to precast reinforced concrete structures, emphasizing fundamental design principles, materials, structural systems, and connections. Students will learn to design precast slabs, beams, and columns and their structural connections. The course also includes an introduction to the strut-and-tie modeling approach. The course features practical design examples and case studies to enhance technical understanding and practical application skills. |
