Course Objective

The course aims to provide first-year students with an understanding of social psychology concepts and their application within the tourism industry. The course explores how human behavior, group dynamics, and social factors influence tourist experiences and the tourism industry.

Assessment Criteria

Midterm Exam will include multiple-choice and short essay questions focusing on the understanding of basic theories and their application in the context of tourism.
Final Exam will include both conceptual and analytical components, assessing students ability to synthesize and apply course content in real-life tourism scenarios.
All exams are individual, closed-book, and will be conducted in-class unless otherwise stated.
